Allen R. Gromko, President & Principal Consultant

Allen is a graduate of Penn State University’s Commercial Food Management Program.  He has experienced a successful management career of over thirty years, the last sixteen of which he served as the administrator of a high volume, multi-hospital, food service system.  In 1995 he founded ARG Associates, a consulting company with a specialization in food safety.  ARG Associates serves restaurant and retail companies, health care and educational organizations, food manufacturers and processors and regulatory agencies.  His blend of expertise as regulator, operator, and educator make him uniquely qualified as a consultant.

Allen has served on advisory committees for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, acts as contributing editor for the development of training materials to both the National Restaurant Association’s Education Foundation and the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals, and is a frequent author of articles appearing in regional and national food service publications.  He has completed the National Environmental Health Association’s examination and achieved recognition as a “Certified Food Safety Professional”.
